Con tutta la magnifica sottile ironia del grande genio inglese. Il primo poi, quello da cui prende il titolo la raccolta non poteva che attrarre la mia attenzione di scrittore amatoriale.
Entering a bookstore in London what else could one wish for than stumbling upon three Orwell's paperbacks? This is the first one of those three pamphlet that I bought. It includes four essays on politics, writing, language. Engraved with all the subtle irony of this great British genius. The first one, which gives the pamphlet its title, attracted the amateur writer in me right away.
