Oceano Mare - Alessandro Baricco

Un'altra prima in queste vacanze natalizie, Alessandro Baricco. Ma questa prima mi ha lasciato decisamente insoddisfatto. Troppo surreale, troppo ossessivo, troppo cupe le atmosfere, troppo leziosi gli infiniti elenchi di sostantivi o le prosa disposta in verticale come se fosse poesia. Insomma, decisamente sopra le righe, più un esperimento letterario che una lettura interessante. Non mi ha lasciato nessuna voglia di leggere altri romanzi di Baricco. One more first time during this Christmas break, Alessandro Baricco. But this first time was not satisfactory at all. Too surreal, too obsessive, the atmosphere is too dark, the infinite lists of nouns, or the prose written in vertical, as if it were poetry too sophisticated. In essence, more of an experiment in literature, reaching too much above the level of what one would expect from a novel to make an interesting reading. I'm certainly not eager to read more of Baricco's novels.
