Simpatica l'idea di strutturare una lezione sui fondamenti della fisica e dell'astrofisica in un dialogo fra la geniale Margherita Hack e una giovane e curiosa studente. Il risultato è un po' sotto alle aspettative. Qualche concetto è spiegato in modo complicato per i miei arrugginiti ricordi di fisica:), forse si poteva fare meglio se il pubblico destinatario era quello dei ragazzi. E soprattutto ci sono alcune pagine, che, anziché spiegare concetti, si dilungano nell'elencazione dei tipi di elementi fondamentali della materia, di quale sia il loro spin, etc. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più ricco dalla mitica Margherita.
The idea of structuring a lesson on the basics of physics and astrophysics as a dialogue between one of the best scientific minds in Italy, Margherita Hack, and a young a curious student, is great. The result is a little below what I expected. Some of the concept are not easily digestible, it might be because of my rusty knowledge of physics:), but I thought they could have been explained better. And most importantly there is a part of the book that indulges too much in listing the basic elements of matter, their spin, and other characteristics, instead of giving scientific explanations. I really expected something better from the brilliant Mrs. Hack.
