Un manifesto per l'ateismo scritto in stile pungente e mai noioso. Questo è il primo libro di Dawkins che mi capita di leggere, ma mi ha sicuramente suscitato la curiosità di leggerne altri. Unica pecca, il Darwinismo viene usato come spiegazione di quasi tutti gli argomenti a favore dell'ateismo; mi sarebbe piaciuto leggere di più delle ragioni filosofiche del perché esiste una morale laica, ma il libro accenna solo in un capitolo a Kant e altri pensatori. Ma d'altra parte le scienze naturali sono il terreno di studio di Dawkins, quindi è comprensibile.
A pro-atheism manifesto written with a witty prose. This was the first Dawkins' book I have ever read, but it certainly made me curious to read more of his books. The only downside, professor Dawkins uses Darwinism to support most of his pro-atheist arguments; I would have liked to read more philosophical discussions about why an atheist moral exist, but the book only mentions Kant and few other authors in one of the chapters. But, at the end of the day, natural science is Dawkins' specialty, so I shouldn't have expected anything different.
