Un'etica per i laici - Richard Rorty

Rorty mette assieme Wittgenstein, Dewey, Heidegger e Vattimo per fare una sintesi sull'etica che muove gli uomini. Una sintesi che sostiene che il relativismo, inteso come discorso evolutivo mosso dalla ricerca utilitaristica, è il motore etico del mondo. E si contrappone allo strutturalismo, ad esempio religioso, che assume un realtà assoluta e vera di cui l'umanità è un sotto-ente. L'evoluzione continua del mondo e la mancanza di risposte assolute, nel senso di sempre vere, anche in ambito scientifico sembrano comprovare l'etica laica di Rorty, soprattutto in questa epoca di grandi tumulti. Rorty puts together Wittgenstein, Dewey, Heidegger and Vattimo to theorize human ethics. A theory founded on relativism; relativism intended as an evolutionary argument among people driven by utilitarianism. A theory that is in contrast with structuralism, for example founded in religion, which instead assumes an absolute truth, and mankind is just a subsystem. The world continuous evolution, and the lack of absolute answers, meaning always true, even in physical, chemical and biological science, seems to prove the secular ethics that Rorty proposes. Particularly in these days of constantly emerging change.
